PEST OF TEA |
As many as 147 insect pests have been recorded on this crop. The important tea leaf pests are mites, thrips and tea mosquito bug while shot hole borer is the major stem pest. Occasionally aphids, scale insects, leaf and stem feeding caterpillars also infest tea.
