Damage symptoms; Both nymphs and adults suck the sap from the leaves resulting in curling and crinkling of leaves.

Bionomics: Yellowish to dark insects mostly wingless (apterous) on the under surface of leaves.  Quite often attended by ants for the sweet honey dew secretion.  Winged forms may be seen under crowded condition.
